On behalf of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur, I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for accepting our invitation and delivering an enlightening session on ‘Value Education’ during the Induction Program for First Year B.Tech CSE students. Your insights and expertise greatly enriched the experience of our students, providing them with valuable lessons that extend beyond academics.

We used to face serious issues in accessing potable safe and clean drinking water. The taps that we were dependent on used to get limited supply and were placed far away from our places. Thanks to the Water Treatments Plants & Filtration Units to Handpumps installed by Yuva Rural Association under the WASH project. We are now able to access safe drinking water for our families.

Students used to suffer the most from the absence of improved WASH facilities. They used to defecate and urinate in the open and never used to wash their hands before having lunch. However, after the YRA’s WASH interventions our school now has improved sanitation facilities separately for girls, boys, and disabled students with hand washing stations. The students now access toilet facilities and practice improved hygiene behavior like handwashing with soap.

The work of Yuva Rural Association is outstanding; we have not seen ever such organization in our locality who works for the betterment of rural poor”, stated by Dr. Hidgire on the account of International Women’s Day.
