The Yuva Rural Association’s “बाल विवाह मुक्त भारत 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭” initiative is particularly active in Latur and Washim districts.
As part of this campaign, a candle march and a pledge-taking ceremony were organized, where over 300 participants pledged to stand against child marriage. Additionally, the campaign’s inauguration included a separate pledge-taking event with 170 participants, emphasizing their commitment to eradicating child marriage.
During these events, a short film titled Liked Sisters was shown to raise awareness about the negative impacts of child marriage and inspire communities to take action. These efforts aim to build a united movement for a child marriage-free society.
